Who we are

TraveJoyz began its exciting adventure in 2015 when a group of passionate travelers decided to turn their love for exploration into a resource for fellow wanderers. What started as a small blog has since blossomed into a comprehensive travel guide platform, helping thousands of vacationers discover their perfect destinations.

Comments

We collect the data shown in the comments form and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid in spam detection.

An anonymized string generated from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are using it. Find the Gravatar service privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Your profile picture is displayed publicly in connection with your comment, once approved.

Media

You should not upload images that have location data set (EXIF GPS) if you upload images using the website. Images listed on the website can be downloaded and extracted by anyone who visits the site for location data.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. They are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will be good for 1 year.

When you log into our website, we will create a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not store any personally identifiable information and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set a number of cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies expire in two days, and screen option cookies in a year. If you check the “Remember Me” box, you will be logged in for two weeks. If you log out of your account the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and just indicates the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after 1 day.

How long we retain your data

If you register on our site, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users have the ability to view, modify or discuss their personal information at any point in time (they cannot alter their username though). Information can also be seen and edited by the website administrators.
